Thames Bridge Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff and regular volunteers are trained in safeguarding and child protection procedures. This means that we all have a responsibly to care for and protect the children in our school.  Staff, volunteers and visitors are all briefed with the latest Safeguarding information via display board and visitor induction.

Safeguarding and Child Protection is an agenda item at all governors’ meetings.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our policy, which you can find below.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about a pupil are discussed with his/her parents or carers first unless we have a reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.

We actively support the government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.  Our staff have undertaken this training.
