*School uniform is not compulsory for our preschool children (Tadpoles).
It is compulsory for our primary children to be supported to always wear school uniform. School uniform is important for a variety of reasons: It reduces competition and peer pressure among pupils, it helps to keep the focus on education and learning as opposed to fashion choices, and it reduces clothing expenses for all parents. Wearing a uniform helps to instil a sense of school pride and belonging, and therefore we ask that you support us in promoting this with your child. Pupil Premium children can be supported with purchasing uniform items.

Daily outer wear requirements
Your child will need a coat/rain mac and appropriate footwear every day. Please provide a pair of wellington boots that can be left at school for outdoor activities and Forest School. Hats, gloves & scarves are also required throughout winter.
During the warmer months, your child will require a sun hat in school daily for any outdoor play / Forest School sessions.
While we recommend an all-day suncream to be applied at home before the school day, KS2 children in years 3-6 are permitted to bring their own suncream into school (to be kept in their book bags) for self-re-application as necessary.
Hair & Jewellery
The wearing of a single pair of small stud earrings is permitted, however these must be removed or taped over for PE and Swimming. A wristwatch may be worn but must be removed for sports. The school cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of personal items of this regard. No other jewellery is permitted to be worn in school. Hair that is long enough to be tied back, must always be tied back.
